![]() ![]() ![]() Obviously, I would prefer not to deal with the added chore of buying octane boost, carrying around octane boost, and pouring in octane boost each time I fill up. Would there actually be a perceptible difference in performance? I have read on the internet that some people in California will use a Flashpaq to tune their vehicle to a 93 octane and throw in octane boost each time they fill up with 91 octane.Ģ. So here is my question for those of you more experienced with using a Flashpaq. I made sure to fill up with 91 octane yesterday in anticipation of the download. I'm busy working today so I haven't taken it out today to drive it but I will make a post with observations after driving it. I also selected the Superchips value for shift points and rev limiter. So I changed the tire tire and selected the 91 octane tuning because I live in California where 93 octane is not available. The model I purchased appears to be an updated version of the Flashpaqs I have seen pictures of on this forum. The process was incredibly easy and only took about 15 minutes. Tech support said just plug the Flashpaq into the Commander and it will tell me if it needs an update. Seriously 's 2016!Īnyways, I called Superchips to see if any updates had even been issued to determine if I needed to find a friend with a Windows OS computer. I received the Flashpaq in the mail yesterday and was irritated by the fact that Superchips website didn't support Mac OS for updates. I did it mostly to adjust the tire size after recently installing taller tires. I have never purchased a programmer for any car I've owned but after reading posts on this forum, I decided to try it. ![]()

![]() Therefore, reactivity decreases as the positive charge increases on the nucleus. It means the size of the atom decreases, and hence, it will be harder to lose electrons and form bonds. As a result, it pulls the outermost shell electrons towards itself more conveniently. When the positive charge on the nucleus increases, there will be a stronger nuclear attraction between the nucleus and valence shell electrons. The more protons in the nucleus of an atom, the greater the attraction between the nucleus and the outer shell electrons. As a result, there is an expansion in the activation energy of the molecules, and hence, they show high chances of forming bonds or reactivity. The energy available for a chemical reaction increases by increasing the temperature, usually making it more likely.Īs you increase the temperature of the reaction, the electrons start to vibrate more frequently and collide with other atoms’ electrons more readily. As a result, it shows less affinity to react with other elements, or you can say that to react with other atoms, you need to provide it with more heat energy. It is because when the electrons are away from the nucleus, there is less electron density on the atom. The larger the atomic radius, the lesser the reactivity of an element. The size of an atom is generally considered as the distance between the outer shell electrons and the nucleus, i.e., the atom’s radius. Factors on Which Reactivity Depends onĬhemical reactivity, or simply reactivity, depends upon many factors. Hence, to answer the question of what is reactivity, it can be referred to as how likely or vigorously an atom is to react with other substances. Sometimes, they might produce explosive reactions and are very reactive in chemistry. Highly reactive elements like F, N, O, Na, K, etc., can react vigorously during the chemical process. Generally, this change followed the loss of energy during the process. ![]() This change can occur between the same, whether in the same molecule or within different atoms or molecules. Reactivity in Chemistry measures how voluntarily a substance experiences a chemical change. While in a mixture, it depends upon the chemical nature of the atoms present in it. In pure compounds, reactivity is controlled by the physical properties of the sample. It is a relative tendency of an element to gain or lose an electron(s) during a chemical reaction. Reactivity in Chemistry refers to the rate at which a chemical substance undergoes a chemical reaction in time. ![]() The scientific study of chemical changes and their kinetics is another form of reactivity definition. It is a measurement of how much a substance reacts with others. In general, the reactivity definition is the degree to which a substance shows chemical change when mixed with another substance. In this section, we shall discuss elements’ reactivity and trends in the Periodic Table. But why does it happen? And what is this affinity? How does reactivity vary in the Periodic Table? Like some elements show more affinity to form bonds with others, while some do not show any affinity. There are many observable patterns in elements’ physical and chemical properties as we move across a period or down in a group in the Periodic Table. These trends are broadly divided into two categories, i.e., physical properties and chemical properties. ![]() The elements of the Periodic Table show various trends. ![]() ![]() ![]() FAQs of Compressing Video Online without Watermark 1. This color naming exercise helps you develop the uncertainty in color identification ability. Without the correction glasses, the exercise is pointless. The following exercise is to help our customers, who are already wearing our correction glasses and would like to improve their color naming ability. You would still need to learn to identify (name) new hues never seen before. (After color adaptation that takes about 2 minutes.) However, the improvement in color identification ability is not yet spectacular. In the majority of cases, there is an immediate improvement in color discrimination with the Colorlite colorblind correction glasses. Colorblind people can only partially learn this ability. Color identification abilities begin in childhood and develop slowly as more shades are recognized over time. (Example: the grass is green, the sky is blue.) Nevertheless, without the help of the environment, it would be challenging. However, many colors are correctly named with colorblindness, because they have been learned. Good color discrimination is a prerequisite for color identification, as it is impossible to name colors properly unless we can distinguish them. While people with normal color vision can distinguish millions of hues, the colorblind can barely see a few hundred. Colorblind people have problems within both areas. The two main characteristics of color vision are color discrimination and color identification. ![]() ![]() It covers all channels present and future which interface directly with customers. It is customer-driven, from the customer’s viewpoint. It follows then that customer journey mapping is the process of capturing what the customer is doing, thinking, and feeling as he/she completes an interaction or transaction while attempting to achieve some goal or outcome.Ī journey map is a visualization of the steps that the customer takes on the journey, from the moment she had a need until that need was fulfilled. Examples of interactions include contacting customer service, creating an online account, paying an invoice or making a purchase or interacting with a brand on social media. Just like a journey could include many modes of transportation, customer journeys may involve multiple channels in pursuit of completing the task or achieving the desired outcome. Similarly, a customer journey is the act of – or the steps that a customer takes while in the process of – completing some interaction or transaction with a brand. The dictionary tells us that a journey is the act of traveling from one place to another. ![]() But these new concepts are equally confusing.
